Buddha StatusNepal is a beautiful, and unique. Beautiful because nature has endowed Nepal with her charms in bounty and unique in the sense that it boasts of Astonishing diversity of Culture, Sightseeing at tractions and adventures within a compass of just around 56,000 sq. miles.

Pasupatinath, one of the most important Hindu temples, and Lumbini, the birth place of Gautam Buddha has been attracting pilgrimages since the ancient days but the present day Nepal is famous less for its sanctity and more for its colorful culture, scenic allure and the majestic mountains. The time worn palaces and temples of Kathmandu valley depict superb craftsmanship and magnificence and the villages surrounding the valley still exhibit the traditional Newari life style.

The Pokhara Valley boasts of an exotic panorama where as a wild life parks and conservation areas represent all the ecological system in the country.

Nepal is a tiny territory, a rectangle of about 147,181 sq. Km between 80*4' to 88*12' east longitude and 26*22' to 30*27' north latitude. Bounded by India and China this Himalayan kingdom has a diverse landscape, raging from the highest place on the earth, the Everest (8848 m) in the north to Buddhanagar (60 m) in the south. Altitudinal variance in the small span of area makes this country a natural laboratory. Because of the climatic contrast more then 700 variety of vegetation are found in Nepal. Flowers of every hue and color cover the alpine meadows. More then 300 species of orchids and 32 variety of Rhododendron are found here. The Karnali region is famed for the high number of rare indigenous botanical species. More then 30 species of wild animals lurk in the National parks. Rarities like Royal Bengal Tiger, One horned Rhino sores and snow Leopard can be seen. Nepal alone has more then 800 species of birds, which is collective of whole North America. The endangered species like the Saras Crane, Swamp Patridges, Spiny Babbler and Himalayan Griffins add to the wealth of this natural sanctuary.

PashupatiNepal is a paradise for adventure seekers. We are blessed with eight of the ten highest mountains to experience or perhaps to climb, wild turbulent rivers to observe or white water raft, river gorges to appreciate, including the Kaligandaki-the world's deepest. And thousands of hours of trails to trek, both easy and formidable, or even to mountain bike. Because, Nepal's mountains have been and still is mostly roadless, distances are measured in the time it takes to walk from one place to another, not not in Kilometers(or miles). Trekking in Nepal is known as the best walking on earth. One can trek to the base camp of the world's highest peaks or walk through the world's deepest gorge. A trek to mustang takes one to the stark landscapes of the Tibetan plateau. White water rafting in the swirling rapids, Jungle safari on elephant back, Mountain biking and even balloon flights all give a new meaning to enjoying an adventures life. Nepal offers everything to delight the eyes of the traveler and challenge the stamina of adventurers.

The Himalayan country has been long known for the outstanding friendliness of the Nepalese people. The unique synthesis of Hinduism and Buddhism practiced by most of the populace leads directly to the level of hospitality equal to the loftiness of it's mountains.

Namaste

If Keats is right, then a visit to Nepal will sure be the source of external delight.
